The Hibbs Lupus Trust
Raising awareness is a way of life.
I founded The Hibbs Lupus Trust in October 2011. I am responsible for setting the charity's strategic aims, its overall management and leadership.
I have successfully raised the profile of lupus through the use of social media. In 2009, Sarah Brown hosted a Downing Street reception at No.10 to help me raise awareness of lupus. This was the first Downing Street reception to have been organised through Twitter and is documented in Sarah's autobiography.
In April 2017 the Trust celebrated raising over £125,000.
I am listed in the Guardian's Top 30 Social CEOs for my work with the Trust in 2014, 2015 & 2016.
